Cancer - is it preventable?
By Stephen Raftery
Cancer is just about the most terrifying word in the English language today, we all know someone who has or currently is suffering from cancer. Cancer is one of the biggest killers in the world today, modern medicine has battled long and hard to find a cure with little success, cancer continues to spread and it appears there is no way of stopping it, it seems most of us are at risk of developing this deadly disease.
The American cancer society says that men in the United States have a 1 in 2 chance of Of developing cancer while women have a 1 in 3 chance. There are approximately 9 Million Americans alive today who have already had cancer. Over half a million Americans die every year from cancer – that is like 150 9/11's every year!
The rest of the world has a similar tale to tell, America does not even rank in the top 20 Countries in the world for cancer death rates – imagine that!
But its not all bad news, research has shown that most cancers can be prevented. Scientists now estimate that 60 to 70 percent of all cancers are preventable by making simple lifestyle and diet changes.
WOW what a relief! 60 to 70 percent of all cancers are preventable, there are several steps that we can all start taking today to help prevent cancer such as making simple changes to our diet, living a more stress free lifestyle, taking a little more exercise and quitting smoking.
Further western medicine knows that cancer is caused by a break down in the DNA but it doesn't work on the DNA to solve the problem, it only offers surgery, radiation chemotherapy and a whole host of other gross treatments.
The natural approach to cancer taken by the ancient Ayurvedic tradition does work on the level on DNA and a level even deeper that that! The approaches offered by Ayurveda can turn undeveloped cancer into a harmless nothing, it renders it irrelevant yet the approaches are very gentle and natural, if you take these approaches you will not get cancer.
To your improved health - Naturally and effortlessly
